Job Description

The successful candidate will work on the characterization of the molecular mechanisms responsible for the newly described tumor suppressor activity of MYO1A (Mazzolini et al PNAS 2012;109:1530), as well as other Myosins such as MYO6 and MYO5B. Experience with the bioinformatics tools frequently used for the analysis of ‘omic’ data will be a plus (R, Bioconductor, GSEA, etc). THE INSTITUTE OFFERS: - Postdoctoral position for two years. - Annual gross salary of 25,000€ per year. - Stimulating scientific environment with long-term career opportunities.

Education Level Required

THE CANDIDATES MUST: - Have a PhD Degree on the described field

Expected Experience

- Have at least TWO publications as first author in the field of molecular oncology, preferably on colorectal cancer. - Experience with the analysis of omics-derived data is desirable.
